Thoughts
So much to learn. So much to share. Through clothing, we now understand that the pace and method in which information is communicated is one of the defining characteristics of our time. And contrary, making a shirt, wearing a shirt, repairing a shirt remains a beautifully slow-burning physical task. Over the past 5 years, we've struggled to find the rhythm, medium, etc. fit for clothing’s narrative. It seems as though you need to know more, make more, execute at a higher visual level, but this, unfortunately, hasn't resulted in more wholistic dress (more on this manifesto later). Recently, we've developed a standalone docu-centered blog, we've tried reworking clothing rather than making new, we've toyed with teaching people how to make our own designs, but everything feels far too ephemeral and symbolic for symbol’s sake.
The internet is a strange place now. Seemingly infinite, yet consolidating in on itself.
What are the lovely characteristics of virtual comms which we can harness to bring more spirited dress into the world?
Perhaps, we can just talk more freely and consistently. How about, we speak every other Monday at noon mountain time? We want to try keeping it simple and sharing three things every week (more or less):

Research & Development
It’s been quite a while since we’ve checked in. There’s so much to share; it’s overwhelming at times! But! There’s also a lot of beautiful, joyous things we should speak about.
Not-so-quick aside: Often times, we feel the membrane of the internet makes sharing stories difficult. There, truly, isn’t a place to have a discussion, it’s always a commoditized narrative for sake of selling an aesthetic. How can we talk about a pair of pants, a fabric mill, a reason-for-making without it being a one-way sales pitch. Perhaps, acknowledging a one-way channel and expertise, and then sharing that with the you can be more pure. Thinking clothing’s cousins of architecture or agriculture, we prefer reading in-depth and intimate accounts moreso than a false discussion in the comments section of a livestream (exaggerating here). Those disciplines require generational knowledge and passion. An objective goal for us could be sharing learnings and questions and (sometimes) answers– casually, consistently, joyfully.
