This durable, supple leather is free from animal products and works towards a zero plastic alternative. Without any irrigation or pesticides, a nopal cactus can be continuously harvested for eight years. The plant's leaves are ground, dried, and backed with a woven recycled polyester and cotton. Milling the leather is overwhelmingly carbon negative and takes 165,000% less water than harvesting animal leather.
